For students who want to continue their studies, either a first graduate certificate or no graduate certificate is awarded.
The First Graduate Certificate is issued by the Tahsildar on behalf of the Tamil Nadu government.
One can get a scholarship or a cost reduction for their first graduate degree using this credential. Only families without graduates, including siblings who did not get the first graduate scholarship or fee reduction, are eligible for the first graduate certificate.Children from illiterate homes are given First Graduate certificates in order to educate them and provide a good future for them and their families. Additionally, the certificate reaches the less fortunate students who were unable to continue their study because of their poor financial situation.
One passport size photograph of the applicant
Aadhar card copy
Previous income certificate, if any (optional)
BPL Ration or National Food Security Card
Relevant document of expenditure such as rent receipts or electricity bill
The applicant must hold a signed copy of the self-declaration along with the application form
