To achieve the goal of the Digital India Program, states are now working to digitise their land records. State land records are now accessible online. You may see and even apply for land records online. The states have begun digitising land records. Through their official e-Services website, Tamil Nadu's Patta Chitta documents, which are their land records, are also accessible online.
A potential buyer or banker may occasionally seek a copy of the Patta Chitta that has been validated by the relevant taluka office as being included in the Patta and Chitta. The owner of the property may do so by contacting the relevant taluka office or village administrative officer.
The following paperwork must be supplied along with the patta transfer application:
Patta transfer application signed
copy of the sale deed Original documents are necessary for verification.
Evidence of ownership, such as an EB bill or a property tax receipt
